FLV Family Programs

Every year 40,000 young people and their families participate in FLV sexuality Education programs.  Family Programs are generally conducted out of school hours and often organised by the parent community or school council. They give families the opportunity to communicate in a positive and supportive environment where trained and professional educators model strategies that parents can adapt for their own use.

The programs support parents as the prime educators of their children and emphasise the nurturing and caring roles of families. They are family-focused and designed to encourage positive family communication about reproduction, pregnancy and birth and the physical, social and emotional changes at puberty.
